In short: Romy rewrites, reorders and shortens what's in your CV to fit a posting, and writes letters from it. She never adds an employer, a date, a skill or a number you didn't give her; where she needs a fact, she leaves a blank.
What Romy will do
- Rephrase, reorder, shorten or expand what your CV already says, and leave out what doesn't fit the posting.
- Lead with what the posting values and use its words where you genuinely have the experience.
- Write a two-to-four sentence summary for the role, and put your strongest highlights first.
- Keep the CV to what fits on about two A4 pages, and tell you in a short note what she changed and why.
- Write a cover letter of 220 to 320 words from your CV, with two or three examples that match the posting.
- Open a link you paste in the chat, such as a posting or a company's page. With Search the web turned on in the chat's + menu, she can also search the web when your question needs something current, such as what a company does: each search costs 1 credit on top of the reply, and she asks before every one. She says what she read, and she keeps your name and contact details out of her searches.
- Read files you add from the chat's + menu, such as a posting saved as a PDF, a Word document or a screenshot: up to 3 a message, 10 MB each. Each file costs 1 credit on top of the reply, and the price in the chat shows it before you send. Only you and Romy see them.
What Romy won't do
- Add an employer, title, date, degree, certificate or skill that isn't in your master CV.
- Change your contact details, dates or employer names.
- Invent results or numbers. Where a highlight needs one, she leaves a blank for you to fill in.
- Take facts about you from the web. Pages and searches tell her about the job and the company; your CV and what you tell her are all she knows about you.
You decide
Every change is a proposal. You accept or reject each one, and nothing reaches your CV until you do.
If that doesn't work
If Romy wrote something that isn't in your CV, send it to us with the posting. A person on the team replies by email.
