# Delete your account

> Settings › Account › Danger zone deletes your CVs, applications, letters, Romy chats and credits for good. It can't be undone, so download your data first if you want a copy.

## Before you start

Deleting can't be undone. If you want to keep a copy, download your data first from **Settings › Account › Your data**.

## Step by step

1. Open **Settings › Account** and find the **Danger zone**.
2. Choose **Delete account**, type your email to confirm, and choose **Delete my account**.
3. You're signed out when it's done. Until the deletion starts, **Keep my account** cancels it.

## What goes

Your master CVs and their versions, your applications with their tailored CVs, letters and prep, your Romy chats and support requests, and your Romy credits with their history.

## If that doesn't work

If you can't sign in to delete your account, tell us the address it uses. A person on the team replies by email.
